Minimum Requirements:
1. Have atleast 100+ news items on your site (400-600 words, a clear date and time on each, image on each).
2. Your Site Should Be Atleast 3 Months Old.
3. The URLs Must have a 3 digit number
4. Make sure the URLs are regular HTML
(nothing fancy)
5. Make a sitemap in google news format.
6. Have an “author” or “editor” page with over 3
Authors.
7. Have a real physical address and phone
number.
8. Use a wordpress news template that looks
“newsy”
9. Create About us and contact us pages.
Submit your Site to Google News
– Tell them about historical background of thesite
– Tell them about your editors and authors
– Tell them about who links to you site
– Mention that your site complies with the technical requirements.
– They will send you an email, Make sure to Reply to it saying your site meets the
requirements and please consider your site’s content for inclusion.
